At The Mill we're not just a hair salon - we're a sanctuary for the unconventional, the bold, the creative, and the beautifully weird. Home to anyone who's ever felt like they didn't quite fit the mold, our space is unapologetically authentic and radically inclusive. LGBTQ+ friendly and always judgement-free, we believe drop dead gorgeous hair starts with feeling safe, feeling seen, and being celebrated exactly as you are.

THE SPACE
A LONG ISLAND SALON THAT DOESN'T FIT IN
Designed to feel more like your cool best friend's living room than a traditional salon, our space welcomes each client with a comfortable waiting area, perfectly curated art on the walls, a life-size skeleton named David, and enough snacks and beverages to die for.
We have intentionally chosen every piece of furniture in our space - from wider seating with higher weight limits to ultra-comfortable, adjustable sinks that support both the tall and the small. This is a space rooted in radical self-love where your comfort, your body, and your presence are respected and celebrated - always.
about us
We are Simone + Sam, two best friends on a mission to provide a space where our guests feel as beautiful on the inside as we make them feel on the outside. This is why it was important to us to only take one guest at a time - we know how sacred time at the salon can be for our clients and we wanted an environment that truly caters to each and every person.
We encourage both our clients and stylists to be who they want to be, dress how they want to dress, and have fun while doing it.
